MyActivityPals

This is a social networking site built using the Content Management System Drupal. MyActivityPals is used to help people find those unlisted/unpublished activity locations and to connect you with others that share your same interests.

Advanced features used:

  • Google Maps - Used for Activity Locations
  • Friend list.
  • User Groups
  • Google AdSense - AdSense bar can be placed almost anywhere
  • User Points - Users gain points when they post Activity Locations. The points must be approved by the Administrator.

Fravrit

Fravrit.com is a website based on the content management system Drupal.  


Here is a screenshot of the Fivestar voting module.  The image used (the star) can be easily configured to be any image you want.  The number of ratings can also be configured to be 1-10.

If you'll notice the screenshot above, the item "Cold Stone - The Pie Who Loved Me" was tagged with Cold Stone, dessert, and ice cream.  Free tagging is a feature of CMS's and can be placed on any item including images.  Once the tagging is in place, the system can create a "tag cloud" (as shown in the screenshot below).  The more content there is for a particular tag, the larger that tag will become in the cloud.
